ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

Premiering as part of Theatre Royal Bath Elevate, THE SILVER FISH is a solo dance-theater piece exploring the artistry of Lucia Joyce, featuring movement scored to voiced sections from James Joyce’s Ulysses. It combines choreography, recorded text, lecture format, and actor manipulated design elements to conjure Lucia’s triumphant turn as The Silver Fish, when she performed original work as part of the first international festival of dance in Paris in 1929. The piece is co-created by director/writer C.C. Kellogg and performer/choreographer Cassidy Grady. Produced by Dan Lewis-Jones with stage management by Kirsty Milne.
